Paxton R. Singleton
Owner/President of Global Surveying Consultants since 2000. Prior to that he was Assistant Director of Surveying and Mapping with A.E.S. Engineers in Meridian, Mississippi, and a Project Manager with Bartlett and West Engineers in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Paxton graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying and Land Information Systems.
Notable Projects:
- Lake Greenlee, Brinkley, Arkansas – Completed topographic and boundary survey and drafting of Arkansas Game and Fish Commissions’ lake for $2.6 million levee rehabilitation.
- Verizon (formerly Alltel) Arena, Little Rock, Arkansas – Setting survey layout control, checking layouts of other contractors, completed as-built surveys for various contractors and setting high accuracy control points.
- Hot Spring County Energy Facility – ALTA/ACSM Land Title Boundary and topographic surveys for use in acquisition of 260 acres of raw land in connection with a multi-million dollar power facility. This project included high-accuracy control networks and coordinate conversions, as required for federal and state permit applications.
- An approximately 3-mile pipeline route survey. This project required accurate location of improvements and property lines along the route as well as six ALTA/ACSM surveys for right-of-way acquisition. Permanent controls were left in place for use in the design profile stages of the project. Strict time restraints were a primary issue on this project and Global Surveying Consultants was able to deliver all of the work in a 3-week period.
- Multiple Cellular Tower Projects – Green field and co-location surveys for use by telecommunication companies in acquiring lease agreements and construction permits.
- O’Reilly Automotive/Chick-Fil-A/Dollar General – ALTA/ACSM Boundary and topographic surveying for new store development throughout Arkansas and Mississippi.

James S. Aunspaugh
James has been with Global Surveying Consultants, Inc. for over 3 years. He has over 22 years of experience in the surveying field, including 13 years as a licensed Professional Surveyor. James has worked for numerous companies, such as Caldwell Engineering and Surveying in Hendersonville, Tennessee as their Head of the Survey Department and Engineer Technician. Prior to that he owned and operated Aunspaugh Land Surveying, Inc. in Sherwood, Arkansas for six years. Before that, James was a partner in A-Plus Land Surveying in North Little Rock. In addition, he was a Party Chief for Randy S. Crosland Surveyors, Inc., North Little Rock, Arkansas, Blaylock, Threet, Phillips and Associates, and Beadle Surveying, Inc. in Cabot, Arkansas. He also was Construction Surveyor for Rankin Architecture, Inc., in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles, and Party Chief, Instrument Man and Draftsman for Bond Consulting Engineers, Inc. in Jacksonville, Arkansas.

Notable Projects:
- O’Reilly Automotive/Chick-Fil-A/Dollar General – ALTA/ACSM Boundary and Topographic Surveying for new store development throughout Arkansas and Mississippi.
- Duke Energy – KGEN, Hot Spring, LLC – Completed an ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey on a 100-acre, 620-megawatt power plant. This project included sketching and measuring all improvements, mapping utilities marked by one call and locating property corners. Control points were also set throughout the site for future use.
- Pine Bluff Arsenal, Pine Bluff, Arkansas – Washington Demilitarization: Completed various topographic and as-built surveys throughout the site which included surveying fire water tank area, roads, utilities, treelines and facilities around the chemical agent disposal facility. Before entering the site each individual needed to fill out an OSHA Respirator Questionnaire that was reviewed by a medical professional to determine if the applicant would be able to wear a light duty respirator.
- Skippy Peanut Butter, Port of Little Rock, Arkansas – Completed a topographic and boundary survey on a 25-acre site for the purpose of expanding the existing facilities. This project also required setting survey layout control and checking layouts of other contractors for various contractors.
- New Building Facilities for Public Schools, Wicks-Umpire, Wickes, Forman, and Mena, Arkansas – Completed topographic surveys for multiple building locations in various areas and terrains, and coordinated designs and construction to integrate with the existing development on the property.
Sebrina Ricks
Office Manager and Survey Technician with Global Surveying Consultants since February, 2013. Sebrina has 4 years of professional experience as an Administrative Assistance and 5 years as a AutoCad Technician. She is an expert in customer service and managing multiple priorities.
She was previously with Garver Engineers, Environmental Department drafting plans for Wastewater Treatment Plans, Pump Stations, Water and Sewer Lines.

Ronnie F. Harrison
Ron is the founding partner of American LiDAR, which he began in 2010. American LiDAR specializes exclusively in 3D LiDAR (Light detection and ranging) laser scanning services. He was one of the first LiDAR specialists to bring 3D LiDAR long range laser scanning to the Southern region of the United States. Utilizing the versatility of LiDAR, he has provided 3D LiDAR laser scanning services nationwide and in a variety of settings. He has over 35 years of experience as a survey technician and a field engineer in the government, private construction and surveying industries. He has been developing American LiDAR for the last 15 years and has partnered with, and has been trained by, LiDAR industry leaders, with accompanying laser scanning hardware and software providers.
He owns an Optech Ilris 3D LiDAR laser scanner system and has extensive experience with the FARO, Leica scanners and other types of laser scanning equipment. These, when combined, provide the best instrumentation in long range and intermediate range scanning capabilities, procedures and software in the industry.
Ron is nationally known in the industry and has been called to speak on the subject of laser scanning and workflows at international conferences. He has also been the subject of a laser scanning national publication article for his work with educating young people about the field of LiDAR laser scanning.
He is able to draw on his wealth of experience in the areas of laser scanning, documentation techniques and post processing of the point cloud data in order to provide clients with the highest level of detailed data sets that are available. For his clients, the end results are in time savings, economically affordable and accurate information using the most current scan technologies available.
- Trained as a plane surveyor at the U.S. Artillery School at Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Reclassified as a Construction Surveyor, Volunteered for U.S. Airborne School at Ft. Benning, Georgia.
- Honorably discharged in 1982, a Disabled American Veteran. Began work for U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock, District in Pine Bluff, and worked until 1999 in support of the McCelland Kerr Navigation System. It was during this time he developed an interest in LiDAR scanning. Certified and trained in using many types of GPS, electronic, hydrographic surveying, optical equipment and SONAR Graph interpretation. Trained and worked as a Construction Dive Team Member for the Army Corps of Engineers.
- Used G.I. Bill to become trained and certified as a Digital Electronics Technician. At that time he determined that he wanted to work with Point Clouds, when it became available in a terrestrial format in the next few years. Worked extensively on the Arkansas River doing surveys using micro-wave telemetry, SONAR, and later, G.P.S. Also, worked on the White River, Black River and Mississippi River conducting GPS control surveys and hydrographic surveys.
- Conducted surveys in support of projects for the Waterways Experiment Station in Vicksburg, Mississippi. After both a fulfilling and rewarding career with USACE, and having more than 20 of service, then began to contract independently, which included the following projects:

Notable Scan Projects:
- Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas Tunnel Project ̶ 3D scans of the historic Central Avenue portion of the underground, arched Hot Springs National Park Tunnel, which was built in 1844 and runs into Lake Hamilton. Took cross-sections and profiles of the underground tunnel and integrated hands-on participation by local Hot Springs High School East (Environmental and Spatial Technologies) lab students to coordinate with a Samsung national scientific competition. The effort garnered $40,000 worth of prizes and equipment for the students. The project was also coordinated with the city of Hot Springs National Park for analysis of flood control and storm water management. Also involved in the effort was the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville CAST (Center for Advanced Spatial Technologies) lab. This project was also documented in an article in the national SPAR publication from SPAR Point Group.
- Bryan Mound – Free Port, Texas ̶ 3D scans of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve DeGas facility, Optech Ilris long range 3D scan models for the disassembly and relocation to a new site managed by the United States Department of Energy.
- Miami International Airport, Miami, Florida ̶ Consultant, Miami International Airport is among the busiest airports in the world with over 80 airlines serving MIA to approximately 150 destinations around the globe. Participated in 3D scanning of baggage handling facility with photo documentation and Revit modeling of 68,000 SF of the facility. The project required more than 600 scans using three scanners and was completed in under 10 days.
- Bakken Oil Fields, North Dakota & Montana – Conducted 18 scan projects of a variety of oil and gas exploration sites in the Bakken gas and oil production fields located in southern Montana and in North Dakota for Erickson Contract Surveyors in Sydney, Montana.
- Public Service for Garland County Court House, Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas Historic Preservation “Friends of the Garland County Court House” – 3D point Cloud data for historic documentation provided to the county judge for use for the renovation of the historic building site.
- Public Service for Historic Arkadelphia Rail Road Bridge, Arkadelphia, Arkansas – 3D scan of a two span through-truss Railroad Bridge over the Ouachita River on the Union Pacific Railroad at Arkadelphia Arkansas.
- Public Service for The Paul “Bear” Bryant Museum, Fordyce, Arkansas –3D scans for as built and streetscape for the historical building site.
